Idiot box is here to stay.I agree that Internet penetration is very high.In the midst of Internet we shouldn't overlook the Tech advancement happening in TV sector as well.We are seeing HDTV and also Japanese companies are redefining the way we are seeing the TV with the advent of Plasma TV.So Idiot box is no more a idiot box and it will take its new form.Even in this Internet era ppl are buying Home Theatre.We need still TV to watch cricket matches and Indian Idol show and Mega serials.Can you tink a world w/o all this?Internet is not an opposing Tech for TV cos ther is a Tech merging these two and gng to bring a new Exp to the consumers and is called IPTV.

Still do you tink Idiot Box will become extinct?

With Tech advancement i do not think TV watching will become extinct on the contrary it will become much more an evolved experience when u think of 4D TV or interactive tv viewing. So the future looks bright. All we have to do is enjoy and keep watch. Who knows what tomorrow bring along with it.

Of course I too agree , TV is a quoted as idiot box.
There are more advantages in internet than TV.But most of them do know the useful of this.
This era can be quoted as Internet era..
Surely internet will cause a great change.
