Technical Analysis is an organised and systematic study through pictorial representation of the past price actions of a security with a view to ascertaining its expected future behaviour.
Technical Analysis draws concepts from 3 subjects i.e. Mathematics, Psychology & Geometry to forecast price of a security and benefit from the favorable price movement.
WHY A FINANCE GRADUATE SHOULD LEARN TA?

Apurva Sheth is a passionate Technical Analyst with substantial knowledge and experience in the field of Finance and Capital Markets. He follows an integrated approach towards analyzing markets drawing logic from different school of thoughts covering both Classical and the Contemporary Techniques of Technical Analysis.
He is a member of the Market Technician Association (USA) and is currently pursuing Level 3 exam of the Chartered Market Technician (CMT) course conducted by the same organization. He is a MMS (Finance) & M.COM degree holder from University of Mumbai and is currently working with the Research desk of a domestic brokerage house catering to institutional clients like Banks, MF’s, Insurance Companies and FII’s. Apurva has been a regular guest/expert/contributor on Zee Business, The Economic Times & economictimes.com.
