Mumbai, Jun 29 (PTI) India's forex reserves increased by USD 1.534 billion for the week ended June 22 at USD 212.549 billion as against USD 211.015 billion during the seven-day period ended June 15.
The reserves had increased by USD 1.468 billion during the week ended June 15 as compared to the preceding seven-day period.
Foreign currency assets (FCAs) increased by USD 1.532 billion to USD 205.178 billion during the week ended June 22, as per figures release by the Reserve Bank of India today.
FCAs in dollars include the effect of revaluation of non-US currencies such as Euro, Sterling and Yen held in reserves.
Both Special Drawing Rights (SDRs) and gold reserves remained static at USD one million and USD 6.911 billion respectively.
Reserve position in the IMF increased by USD two million to stand at USD 459 million. PTI
