Film stars always have an advantage in Politics

ya as before entering into politics they have already gained fame and publicity in the publics which helps them to popularise a lot.

well some hve and some don't as we all knw wat happnd when amitabhji entered in politics well he dint succeeded at all bt in south ppl are crazy abot filmstars they worship them like nythng so they are successful out there...

sure cine stars always had an advantage in politics form the day of independence. They had given some charismatic presence to the political parties as well as form them

When you have lack of creative ideas... then remake the classics...so whether south film being remade in Hindi...old classics being re-modelled in present times...it speaks less of the Indian Cinema think tank to be copying and remaking old stuffs!

Recently,Telugu superstart Mr.Chiranjeevi launched political party. He is not the first filmstar to do so.Before him two big guys launched parties and they were successful in their venture.MGR in TN and NTR in AP were Chiranjeevi's precursor.NTR was very famous in AP and MGR was one of the ppl who ruled TN for close to 10 yrs.The common line for 3 of them is that they are famous even before they ventured into politics. So it is easy for them to reach to the ppl thru their fan-club and they have advantage as their images will help them to convince ppl.

So,filmstars always have an advantage in politics.

Yes , film stars are already famous and have touched the hearts of their fans through their movies..
The fans have a good image about them and have trust them..
So they don't need to exert to contst and win easliy.....

YEAH FILM STARS DO GT ADVANTAGE IN POLITICS.BT ONLY IN INITIAL SATGE.ULTIMATELY THEY HV TO PROOVE THEMSELVES WORK FOR THE COUNTRY.

i agree , most film stars already have the largest fan following, this gives them unparalleled power over masses who follow them more or less blindly...

The advantage a film star has is the initial recognition he receives and the cult standing he has in the mind of some people . There is no doubt that associating with stars leads to more votes as seen by political parties campaigning with more and more stars

Film stars gain entry into politics by virtue of their popularity in acting. People tend to mix up reel life with real life and believe their heroes to be as good as depicted on celluloid. As a result, illiterate people cast their votes for the screen hero, who otherwise has no vision on development of the country. They barely focus on development or welfare schemes for general good of the people but go around dictating schemes for the benefit of their party cadres. Decisions taken based on the whims and fancies of film stars are not conducive for the development of the State.
