The market opened flat on Thursday despite resolution on the US debt ceiling. The Sensex is up 15.01 points at 20562.63, and the Nifty is up 5.25 points at 6094.30.
 
Epic Update : Sensex surges 390 pts

The Sensex is up 363.23 points or 1.78 percent at 20778.74, and the Nifty is up 108.65 points or 1.80 percent at 6154.50.
