Asian markets were trading weak on Monday. Japanese markets were shut for a public holiday.

China’s Shanghai Composite was down 1.35 percent or 32.03 points at 2,342.51.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng declined 0.62 percent or 143.50 points at 22,945.04.

Singapore’s Straits Times slipped 0.54 percent or 17.52 points at 3,206.35.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite fell 0.49 percent or 9.49 points at 1,931.43.

Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted plunged 2.05 percent or 184.02 points at 8,782.42.
 
Asian shares were mixed in early trading on Tuesday, despite stocks on Wall Street posting their third straight decline as investors awaited earnings and fretted about signs of slowing global growth.

Hong Kong%u2019s Hang Seng was down 0.10 percent or 22.31 points at 23,121.07. Japan%u2019s Nikkei shed 1.15 percent or 178.38 points at 15,300.55.

Singapore%u2019s Straits Times was flat at 3,199.29. China%u2019s Shanghai Composite was flat at 2,366.21.

South Korea%u2019s Seoul Composite rose 0.19 percent or 3.61 points at 1,930.82.Taiwan%u2019s Taiwan Weighted was up 0.13 percent or 11.30 points at 8,722.69.
 
Mounting anxiety over global growth and the spread of Ebola dragged Asian bourses lower early Thursday. A volatile trading session on Wall Street overnight weakened investor sentiment.

Hong Kong%u2019s Hang Seng shed 0.87 percent or 201.88 points at 22,938.17.

Japan%u2019s Nikkei tumbled 2.10 percent or 316.67 points at 14,756.85.

Singapore%u2019s Straits Times fell 1.10 percent or 35.23 points at 3,163.49.

South Korea%u2019s Seoul Composite was down 0.69 percent or 13.24 points at 1,912.67.

Taiwan%u2019s Taiwan Weighted declined 1.34 percent or 116.29 points at 8,539.22.

China%u2019s Shanghai Composite fell 0.31 percent or 7.31 points at 2,366.36.
 
Asian bourses mirrored the choppy trade overnight in the US, with Shanghai, Tokyo and Seoul erasing early gains to trade lower early Friday.

China%u2019s Shanghai Composite fell 10.31 points or 0.44 percent to 2,346.19 while Hang Seng rose 47.02 points or 0.21 percent to 22,947.96, at 7:56 am.

Japan%u2019s Nikkei 225 Average was down 21.63 points or 0.15 percent at 14,716.75 while Singapore%u2019s Straits Times advanced 3.75 points or 0.12 percent to 3,157.96.

South Korea%u2019s Seoul Composite declined 2.41 points or 0.13 percent to 1,916.42 and Taiwan Weighted lost 43.35 points or 0.50 percent to 8,590.34.
