Asian stocks declined on Tuesday as investors awaited central bank decisions in Japan and Australia.

Hong Kong’s Hang Seng shed 0.23 percent or 54.55 points at 23,260.49.

Japan’s Nikkei was down 0.14 percent or 23.04 points at 15,867.91.

Singapore’s Straits Times was down 0.11 percent or 3.69 points at 3,249.55.

South Korea’s Seoul Composite was up 0.15 percent or 2.96 points at 1,971.35.

Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted declined 0.90 percent or 81.62 points at 9,013.52.
 
Asian equity markets rose on Thursday after US indices posted their biggest one-day gain of 2014.

China%u2019s Shanghai Composite was up 0.17 percent or 3.99 points at 2,386.79.

Hong Kong%u2019s Hang Seng rose 1.10 percent or 256.27 points at 23,519.60.

Japan%u2019s Nikkei was up 0.48 percent or 75.07 points at 15,671.05.

Singapore%u2019s Straits Times added 0.71 percent or 23 points at 3,249.71.

Taiwan%u2019s Taiwan Weighted jumped 0.48 percent or 42.97 points at 8,998.15.

South Korea%u2019s Seoul Composite shut today.
 
Todays Asian Market

Indian ADRs ended higher on Thursday.
In the IT space, Infosys was up 0.2 percent at USD 60.37.
Wipro added 1.34 percent at USD 12.13.
In the banking space, ICICI Bank jumped 2.72 percent at USD 50.20.
HDFC Bank rose 3.13 percent at USD 48.11.
In the other sectors, Tata Motors gained 2.79 percent at USD 44.90.
Dr Reddy%u2019s Laboratories was down 1.21 percent at USD 49.92
 
Asia stocks joined Wall Street%u2019s selloff on Friday as investors fretted over slowing growth in Europe.

Japan%u2019s Nikkei slipped 1.12 percent or 173.82 points at 15,305.11.

Singapore%u2019s Straits Times fell 0.82 percent or 26.57 points at 3,232.68.

South Korea%u2019s Seoul Composite declined 1.23 percent or 24.18 points at 1,941.07.

Hong Kong%u2019s Hang Seng gained 1.17 percent or 271.20 points at 23,534.53.

Taiwan Weighted and Shanghai Composite shut today.
