NCDEX August contract of Chana ended steady on proper

demand supply match. CACP and Pulses Industry has recommended

to government for increase in import duty to 10%u0025 from nil. Summer

Sown pulses have been planted on 1.05 million hectares as of June

28 compared to nil acreage of last year, Chana is likely to trade in range with firm bias on expectations of import duty hike and buying support at lower levels while the extent of upside may be limited on good pulses%u2019 acreage report.
