If an entrepreneur is a person who starts enterprises, well then he or she is surely made. One starts an enterprise due to circumstance - either duress, self-actualization, force of circumstance or availability of capital - these drive a person to become an entrepreneur (small or big).

If we observe that each person is basically enterprising or he / she simply cannot survive! So each living person is entrepreneurial by nature. Destiny or circumstance decides whether he / she becomes an 'entrepreneur' or 'intrapreneur'.

Any one having ambition,capacity of accepting challenges, hard working, presence of mind, creativity can become a successful entrepreneur.

Agreed !! ENTREPRENEURS are not born.. they are made.. it after the culmination of various qualities that you acquire during your course of life/experience that you become a successful ENTREPRENEUR.
 
well friends i think that a real Entrepreneur is a person who has the qualities like Leadership, Confidence, Risk Taking, Innovative,Energetic...
Some people are born with excellence in this qualities and some get it developed.

So if we think about it in a clear way then we cant say exactly that Entrepreneur are born or Made...

There are some entrepreneur born with qualities essential for being an Entrepreneur like Ratan Tata and Some who are not born with excellence in qualities of Entrepreneur but they developed it eventually

hay B Bonka, which Ambani are you talking about Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh Ambani or Anil Ambani.

Well Anil Ambani and Mukesh Ambani can be sad as born Entrepreneurs but not Dhirubhaio Ambani because he had stuggled a lot to make him self called by people.
 
From my point of view they are born not made. The characteristics of the particular successful entrepreneurs are that they have the ability to identify possibilities, think in a different way and take risks.
