Entrepreneur or Intrepreneur

If you work for yourself, take risk and setup your own business, you are an entrepreneur.

If you work in a company, take risk, come up with a innovative concept, get it approved, execute it and take charge of that strategic business unit, you are a intrapreneur.

The difference between creativity and innovation ( Creativity V/s Innovation ) is similar to that of a manager and an entrepreneur.

A manager manages, an entrepreneur executes. Similarly creativity is more on conceptualizing and coming up with amazing path breaking new ideas; Innovation { innovate } is more on executing the creative plan.

So Innovation is what happens when creativity is put into use.

If you come up with a great idea, you are creative. If I use this creative idea by applying it to something and , it becomes innovation.

Einsteins principles are science, apply it to come up with a product offering, thats innovation.
 
entrepreneur redefines the rules... they dont go by a set of prescribed norms and notion and conventional wisdoms but write their own story with their own ink
 
some how mgmt education restricts ur innovative thinking... it tells u opt techniques and how to avoid risk... but all the huge enterprises are build on platform of equally enormous risks
 
entreprenuer...is d one who starts his own business...to achieve the goal in life!!!!both of them have ideas n go for innovation n creativity...but entreprenuer operates his business....n intrapreneur...work in the organisation.....evn they have ideazzzz....innovativeness n creativity ...but they wrk within d organisation!!!!!n entreprenuer establishes his own business

entrepreneur is a person who runs the business...
intrapreneur is a person who works within the org.

entrep is a person who is independent in his business operations
intrap is a person who is dependent on entrep for everything in the org

entrep need not be educated
intrap enters the org with high education and qualification

entrep bears all the risks in the business
intrap need not bear any risks

entrep has to raise funds
intrap need nt bother to raise funds..
