Employees can “draw” upon their individual employee matching gift benefit any time during the pledge year of September 15 through August 31. • Nonprofit organizations in the U.S. that have tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status from the IRS. Gifts can be pledged via payroll deduction, through the donation of fully-owned securities or via credit card).
• Kindergarten through 12th grade public and private schools in the U.S. that are nondiscriminatory. To facilitate timely distribution of funds, all gifts to schools must be made by credit card.
• More than 240 pre-selected projects that serve community needs outside the U.S. and other American-based nonprofit organizations are listed on the GivingStation©.
The matching program is only available to U.S.-based full or part-time employees.

The Applied Materials Foundation will match employees' personal contributions to eligible Kindergarten through 12th grade public and private schools in the U.S. that are nondiscriminatory (faith-based schools must offer an opt-out policy for religious education). The school must have nonprofit (501(c)(3) or other tax-exempt status. To facilitate timely distribution of funds, all gifts to schools must be made by credit card.
To make a donation to a school, access the GivingStation©. Select the “Education” focus area and locate your favorite school from the list of over 1800 pre-populated schools. If your school is not on the list, add it by using the “suggest a charity/school” link on the left navigational bar.
