Hi,
One of the major economic issues we need to handle is the retail investor participation in the Economy.Even though the Sensex is touching 15k and heading northwards retail investor participation is very miniscule.Moreover,even if you take the case of Mutual Funds our nos are very low wen compared to Developed countries like US,UK where the no.of investor participation is hign and also % of the monthly income they invest is high.
I wud say the lack of the awareness among the people about the mutual funds and the fear of investing in stock markets are still the major hurdles.We must remove that mindset frm the people's mind.People should know the investment vehicles available to stay invested with minimum risk.Teach them to avoid the Black Market.
By doing the above things we can increase the funds overflow in the country.
