Dr BR Ambedkar Open University invites for BEd MEd Admission 2014

Dr BR Ambedkar Open University, Hyderabad invites applications for admission into M.Ed, B.Ed and B.Ed (Special Education), Programmes through entrance test for 2014 session.

M.Ed (Recognised by NCTE) (2 years)

Eligibility:

• The candidate should be an Indian citizen
• The candidates who have obtained minimum 55 % marks in aggregate B.Ed/ (B.El.Ed) are eligible for admission
• However 5% of marks will be relaxed in case of SC/ST/BC/PH candidates
• The candidates must have at least 2 years of experience as on 01st July, 2014 either as Teachers/ Administrators at any level in a recognized institution/Dept. of Education
• In-service Principal/Education Administrators/Head Master others in educational system having an experience of the least 2 years as on 01st July 2014 also eligible
• Age: Candidates should have completed 23 years as on 01st July, 2014 (No upper age limit)

B.Ed (Recognised by NCTE) (2 years)

Eligibility:

• The candidate should be an Indian Citizen
• Candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in B.A./B.Sc/B.Sc (Home Science)/B.Com/BCA/ BBM/BBA or should have appeared for final year examination in any of the these courses at the time of applying for the B.Ed entrance test
• Those appearing in qualifying examination (Bachelor or a higher degree) can also apply
• But they will be required to submit the proof of having passed the qualifying examination at the time of admission
• The candidate must also fulfill the following conditions along with the above:
• Teachers presently working (In-service) and have completed at least two years of experience as on 01st July 2014 on temporary / permanent basis in an primary secondary/higher/senior secondary school recognized by the central or a state government or a union territory
• Age: Candidates should have completed 21 years as on 01st July, 2014 (No upper age limit)

Submission of Application

• Applications can be obtained by submitting a Challan (SBH) or demand draft from any nationalized bank in favour of the Registrar, Dr BR Ambedkar Open University payable at Hyderabad either from the University headquarters, or Programme Centre and or any Regional Coordination Centres listed below of Dr BR Ambedkar Open University

• Cost of Application cum Prospectus: Rs 535/-
• Commencement of registration: 28th April 2014
• Last date for submission of filled in applications: 31st May 2014
• Date of entrance test: 22nd June 2014, 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m
