Does recession affect talent ?

Our country is not in recession. It is the belief of the industrialist and businessmen.
Since We depend more on US, the recession there affects our business and our managers are doing nothing to prevent or find alternate business.

And the recession has nothing to do with talent.

U overcome any kind of recession if u have talent guys in ur business

No, a true talent does not get affected by the recession for long. Yes, as somebody mentioned above that he or she might get comparatively less opportunities to showcase the talent - it might mean a relatively lower salary or position, but then as the person knows his/her own talent, he might use this time for introspection, learning and improvement - so, although bad patches may hit him/her initially, but then end-results would definitely be better.

hey guys put forth your views what you feel will talent be affected by recession????

No if you have the talent then you can sail through recession... Talent comes from within and you can use your talent to work in a different way so that it doesn't affect or create any obstracles in any way..:SugarwareZ-195:

what I see around me is that students choose to rather enroll for a new study than to start working because of the current labour market. This allows them to wait for the economy to get back on track, while developing their talant even further. In that point of view the recession might even have a positive effect

no i dnt completely agree with it cuz most companies while down sizing wud look for the ppl who hve done wonders for the company or the one's who hve made a very good progress in a short duration nd thus wont layoff them

As the global economy slows down, there is an opportunity for companies to make the most of operational improvement opportunities by leveraging off technologies and processes such as supply chain management and related diversification as these help improve the return on investment and business profitability.
Acquiring talent in this environment can be tricky, but given the right / innovative approach can make it easier than ever. Recession is right time to invest in enhancing your skills further, depending upon the domain you would like to be in.
