Does Hollywood movies have a bad influence on the world?

For those who argue that young children are very negatively influenced by what they see on television and in these magazines, that because of what celebrities do as a DIRECT result our youth is dressing more provocatively, having sex at an earlier age, drinking, abusing drugs, what have you, I can tell you with certainty that they would do this even if pictures of Lindsey Lohan and others partying were not posted on the Internet. There would still be teenage pregnancies even if the likes of Jamie Lynn Spears had not had a baby at 16.

It depends on what movies people watch. Classic films like Gone With the Wind and Casablanca, in my opinion, have a good influence on people. They both are stories about true love in the face of danger.

But many movies nowadays are just made for money. They are 90 minute blood baths with almost no plot and cheap thrills. This is not how film was intended to be. Film has become a way for people to make money rather than actually entertaining audiences.

I totally disagree, there are numerous of films which has the class in it like Avatar and Dallas buyers club and many more. The latest films like gravity and interstellar and even inception is just incredulous . They portray the character which looks authentic on screen. They have strong message whether it is The Great Gatsby or The godfather. We follow their style and outlook appearance but, we fail to understand them on a deeper level. Spider man, superman and so on is just transcend. We are living with cheeky and cheesy romantic love story. We need to evolve. They do not have any bad influence on the world.
