Does an MBA from abroad really makes a difference?

Lot of students these days do their MBA from abroad. But are they getting enough good opportunities once back in India? From a company's POV do they have a prefer these graduates and if yes why?
 
no not at all............ as m working with a govt organisation i mt so many people & i dnt fnd any spclty n such ppl
 
MBA stands for Master of Business Aministartion so studying in aboroad will give us knowledge of how to do business and its key features globally which will help us to surive better
 
it depend on situation when you complete your MBA from india or abroad but MBA from out of india does make difference because globally it help abroad MBA person have better exposure get more in other countries and mba from india in well reputed institute can give you exposure only...
 
An MBA from abroad may at times amke a difference but then what is the use if you dont use the knowledge in practical life, many students want to just do MBA from abroad so as to get a degree but they dont get the required assistance.
 
I dont think MBA from abroad makes much sense these days...not much salary if u pass out from B grade school...being a software engineer is equivalent :). Aim for ivy leagues
 
That doesnt make sense. If u take MBA from good Bschools from India like IIM or so, it makes worth. No need to spend a lot abroad too.
 
It depends which university/ business school one does the MBA from. Top schools like harvard, wharton, kellogs, stanford etc would definitely fetch meaty assignments with fat pay packages. also with focus on emerging markets, knowledge about India, China or korea would definitley make a difference in shaping one's career...

One needs to look at the ROI factor. MBA abroad is very expensive but is good if done from renowned universities. Else I feel their are several good Indian institutes which provide quality education.
