Do you think advertisers should now stop using Team India players in endorsements

coz still they r better ambassadors than movie celebs

They are supp to be cricketers - Means they are supp to play cricket for INDIA and win matches.This is their profession and their 1st and foremost goal...Later they have to think about advt,MOney,fame etc etc etc...When they cant get the job done ie. PLay for India,win matches....why shld they be given money thru advt, ambassadors -MY FOOT....why shld they play good cricket when their money comes from advt.We all know the indian cricket board is 1 of the highest paid boards..Every player should win for their country,every 50-half century or a 100 should be scored not for their own records but for the nations glory.1St GOAL TO PLAY FOR INDIA ,they aught to be proud and stand tall,not go into modelling and advt and loose to bangladesh and get kicked out of the world cup.If they play well no1 has a problem if the go into end number of advt.
 
its high time they stop filing their pockets and do something for the country and concentrate on wat they hv been selected to do......stop endorsements...:SugarwareZ-158:
 
everything has an end and same logic applies to cricket too.. we indians became cricket crazy.. even putting leave to office to watch cricket.. has finally threw cricket away.. so its natural that advertisers should threw the cricket too.. there are many other games which has more charm than cricket...
let advertisers atleast here after support and sponsor other games too.
 
Advertisers would keep using them until we keep cheering our cricketers. I think the time has come to show indian Cricktet the hockey way(What we did to hockey for non performance)

Nope i do not agree with what you said,because loosers and not playing well are 2 things far apart.Indian cricket team are not loosers ,we are a team to come in most of the finals and loose,but we are 2nd place .:p.Take a look at the topic,its not wether they are winners or loosers,its wether advertisers should now stop using Team India players in endorsements.No1s gonna take theives and politicians,we rather take the juniour cricket team,or the national team!

As far as this topic is concerned, practically it is not possible... but i feel some retrain should follow. Now-a-days our players are more inclined to easy money making through ads. Some ads which are meant for public welfare are fine, but there is a limit to everything. Consider the mockery they make by going to fashion shows where they act like heroes and then losing on the cricket ground, making them look like zeroes... The players should invest more time on the pitch rather than film sets.

The moral awakening should come from within, not outside.
 
i really think most of our cricketers r into cricket thing only for the endorsements coz they gey paid in lots.they have nothin to do wid the countrys name,so i think the advertisers shld let them focus on their job first.

Do advertisers stop signing film stars if their film flops? No! Unless and until team India becomes a consistent non performer, we cannot oust them based on performance in one or two series.
 
yes of course they should.. for the sake of the indian team they should stop using them.. indian cricketers concentrate more on advertisements than on cricket itself..
 
ppl r their fans bcoz of their cricket performance n nt bcoz of their proficiency of endorsing products and services..

yeah.. i do agree wit this statement.. they should knw their resposibility towards their work n to en extent cricket contributes to our nation..
