Its a cool statement to have girlfriends/boyfriends now-a-days....
Those who have - flaunt it out, while others who are influenced want to do the same....
Its become like a "necessity" to have someone or more than one to be popular...
Film stars, football players, etc. - all wanna be in the limelight and create controversy to stay in the "game"....

Its human nature that we get attracted to opposite sex in our lives (though attraction to same sex also possible these days ).
There's no harm in getting attracted to others because people might have qualities or features which one may not find in his/her partner.
Point is whatever the case may be, we should remain loyal n committed to our partners.
That helps in sustaining never ending mutual trust n understanding which are the pillars of true love or any relationship.
