Dharmic management is based on ‘holism’ i.e oneness. It emphasizes that man , nature and divine are one and the same. If one is attacked, the other two will be affected and we know this is exactly what is happening in our surrounding. Incidents like Tsunami, earthquake in Bhuj, global warming , extreme changes in climate all are the consequences of our action . We are not taking care of nature, part of our own being and consequently getting affected.

Indian ethos lays stress on to become non-violent towards others. It emphasizes to worship nature, to protect her, to save her from being exploited and manipulated .

Dharmic management emphasizes that our focus should be what we are giving to the nature and not what benefits we are getting from it. Dharmic management emphasizes on taking care of nature. It insists that while earning the profit, management must note that it should not be at the cost of nature. Today’s corporate houses need to follow dharmic management which emphasizes holism and oneness. Man and nature are interdependent.

Therefore to fulfill our selfish desires we must not exploit nature. While running business the corporate houses need to nuture human, ethical and moral values which will develop trust among all the stake holders and the business would flourish. Only value based dharmic management based on right thought, right speech, right action and right behavior can lead to sustainable development. Exploitation of nature will lead to the degradation of society; it can even make our own survival impossible. Nature provides us everything we require for our survival and growth , so we must respect nature pay our homage by taking proper care of it. Therefore, we can conclude that eco-management is what we need if we are interested to provide a better world to our future generation
