The highly anticipated fashion show was the biggest highlight of the day. The event was witnessed by many and the enthusiasm was evident from the electricity in the air. The fashion show participants were judged on their designing skills, clothing and panache. The theme for the event was “ELEMENTS of The Universe”- which represented Fire, Earth, Water, Metal, and Wind.

“It was absolutely fabulous and electrifying!! And the students rocked… Keep it up, guys, keep up the spirit, NITIE rocks,” said Dr. Rakesh Verma, Professor, at the end of the show.

The dance performances included a colourful Bhangda sequence by the group "Punjabi Punks" which received wide appreciation from the audience. Their attire, props and extraordinary dance steps left everybody mesmerized.

There was another exhilarating performance from the "The Street Rags", the hip hop dance group, who dazzled the crowd with their flexible moves and body formations. The group was joined by the Jive girls and what followed was a fusion of Jive and Hip Hop. The novel dance style was appreciated by the crowd, especially the batch who were seeing their fellow batch mates, in different avatars.

The college band, Yellow Pedal, performed with much fanfare and was one of the major highlights of the festival. The crowd enjoyed Pink Floyd and Green Day numbers being performed in their very own campus. Among the Hindi numbers, the song Madari was a big hit among the crowd.

Theatre aficionados had their share of ecstasy with the highly talented group "Young Thespians" performing their act ‘Ramayan Redifined’. The festival included Solo singing performances by some of the students, who struck the right notes for the audience. The variety did not end there. A mime performance was done by students pursuing PhD from the institute. Students also got the exposure to some very novel dance forms and were witness to some of the most exquisite performances in the campus.

“NITIE, Mumbai not only has the best managers but they also have the ability, the style and the spark to create perfection,” commented Aditya Sharma, Cultural Co-ordinator, NITIE.
