Delhi University Super Specialty Entrance Test (DU SET) exam is conducted by Delhi University for the admission into various super specialty courses. The candidates who want to pursue the Super Specialty can apply for the DU SET test. The medical students who have a Post Graduate degree can apply for the entrance test. Structure and Syllabus of DU SET
For the selection of the candidates into various super specialty courses the University conducts the entrance test. The entrance test is in objective type format. The test consists of three papers of questions. The first paper is common for all students. It consists of 80 questions and the paper carries 320 marks. The time allotted for completing the first paper is one hour and twenty minutes. The second paper questions are for the DM candidates. The time for completing second paper is two hours. The third paper is for the candidates choosing M.Ch courses. The time allotted for completing the third paper is also two hours. The second and third paper contains 120 questions and each question carries four marks. Those who pass the written test will be eligible for getting admission for the Super Specialty courses offered by Delhi University.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must have a Post Graduate Medical degree (MD/MS) can apply for the test. The applicants should also have an MBBS degree. They must complete their one year compulsory internship. The applicants should be registered under Indian Medical Council or Delhi Medical Council or any State Medical Council. The candidates fulfill all the eligibility requirements can apply for the Super Specialty Entrance Test.
How to Apply?
The interested candidates can purchase the DUSET application form and the information bulletin directly from the Assistant Registrars Office of the Delhi University against the Bank Draft of the cost of the application form. The cost of the application form is Rs.2000/-. The application form can also obtain by post by sending the request letter and the demand draft of the application fee. The demand draft of Rs.2050/- should be taken from a nationalized bank in favor of the Delhi University Registrar.
How to fill the Form?
The form should be filled as per the guidelines given in the information bulletin. All the details filled in the form should be correct. The candidates have to send a separate application for applying for more than one course. The candidates’ signature should be put in the relevant column for that. The photograph of the candidates should be pasted in the form. Any damage in the application form leads to the cancellation of the form. The Demand Draft in favor of University Registrar should be enclosed with the form. The completely filled form should be reached the University before the last date.
