hay, either you are from an IT or Computer Science, companies like Wipro, Infosys, etc are generally having campuses in many colleges, but you would be getting your jobs after 6 months or sometimes even an year and yes for IT companies there are many on-campuses and off-campuses, but for Non-IT companies. There are very low campuses or no campuses.

I am not blaming private colleges. I am blaming Government colleges who are approving such a huge number of colleges. How can a student prove his caliber ? You have no gates to enter in to any company till they get you from your college campus and no company can dare to take a candidate from new private college, and this is not yet finished, to get in the company we have to use jacks and links. This is the only way we can prove ourselves.

I am just saying that government should stop on approving more and more private colleges. This is decreasing the value of an Engineer or any other student.

We all knoW to get into a government college it self takes a lot out of the
cream.you can just pay a big fees and get into any private collegeExample

No its not. Its the attitude through which you are looking into. Private or public all r the same. If you want to study you can study anywhere.
 
Hey India needs 1500 universities for our population. but we have only around 450 in the nation. to increase our manpower we need to approve institution and regulate them. several boards should be formed to regulate public and private college.

This fig of 1500 universities takes into account the no.of ppl in tht age range.But huv many will be become eligible to enter the universities?When the no.of students enrolled in schools are meagre where will students come to universities in herds & flocks?If we need 1500 universities huv many primary schools and secondary schools we need?If we start opening universities like paan shops then there is serious question about the quality of the education.Even in the present scenario some of the universities operating are not recognised by the HRD.When we have 1500 universities then it certainly becomes unmanageable and education will become the hottest selling service in India than IT.

Its a very strong comment being made...Its true that private colleges have their disadvantages....But it the Pvt. colleges that has made education accessible to everybody...
 
i agree that starting from aprivate college is slow and perhaps even smaller packages but the feild should inspire us all to proove ourselves time and again, our own moments of truth and then perhaps big packages will also come around , it takes time but i have seen it happen.
 
From my point of view colleges are good if it is affiliated to the well esteemed university. This the the caliber of a student which makes him success or not. But we should remember that the opening of so many colleges and universities can impact badly on the quality of education.
