I dont think so convincing power is not at all required in many fields in general sense think about a painter he paints and his painting can have no. of interpretation but he dont have to convince to anybody that the painting specifically reflecting something ........... in professional term take IT management people they are objective specific for many processes and hence no need to convince.
 
yup i truly agree with you .... as marketing is one of the biggest examples .. where the salesperson has to convince the consumer to use their product ... COMMUNICATION is the KEY POINT of marketing ...
 
Convincing Power... agreed in any form of business you need to convince rather 'satisfy' the clients to sell your product or services. Unless you have the power of convincing people, your business aint go anywhere man!!
 
hi guys, i agree that u need good convincing skills if u r to shine in any field. but all innovators need not be great communicators. mostly they are on the shy side. but even they can overcome that by teaming up with a good convincer who can do that for u. in business most of the succesful teams are one brilliant innovator and one convincer.
 
i agree with you all... its very important to have good conversing skills and confidence... only the fittest can survive afterall...
