Death Sentenced Given to Gaddafi's Son Saif al-Islam by Libya Court

Muammar Muhammad Abu Minyar al-Gaddafi, commonly known as Colonel Gaddafi was the leader or more precisely the ruler of Libya for four decades from 1969 to 2011. Gaddafi's rule was not marked as a better leader but considered him as most cruel dictator, he was against humanity. He killed myriads of innocent people when on 17 February 2011, major protests broke out against Gaddafi's government. Unlike Tunisia or Egypt, Libya was largely religiously homogenous and had no strong Islamist movement, but there was widespread dissatisfaction with the corruption and entrenched systems of patronage, while unemployment had reached around 30%.
Well, he died in 2011 protests but lately Libyan government passed a death sentence in absentia on Muammar Gaddafi's most imminent and efficient son, Saif al-Islam, on Tuesday for suppressing peace protests during 2011 revolution leading to war where innocents were brutally killed. The court announced a death sentence to Gaddafi's former spy chief, Abdullah al-Senussi, and his former prime minister, Baghdadi al-Mahmoudi.
ICC prosecutors say that as part of his father’s “inner circle”, he “conceived and orchestrated a plan to deter and quell, by all means, the civilian demonstrations against Qaddafi’s regime”. The nefarious crime list is gargantuan, he is the man who deserve death sentence, and there are other charges such as kidnapping, plunder, sabotage and embezzlement of public funds added to his list.
