Education must be decided at the individual level and not at a country level.No country has professionals of only one qualification.There are education levels for all fields like Bsc, Msc for science,B.E/M.E for Engineering.Likewise the masters program for Management is MBA.

its not mandatory bcoz u can see a live example of LALU prasad yadav who was wellknown for formulation of strategies out of his own personal experience thats all MBA is all about but u never find practical applicability in BOOKS get out of it and move around the globe there are Good managers waiting out there without MBA
It is not mandatory still you need this formal tag if you need a high package salary. It's a formal way of gathering knowledge in management field. There are many examples who gain heights in management and administrative level from their personal experience in life and applying their own strategy.
