An investigation into a fatal car crash including previous Olympian Bruce Jenner on Saturday proceeded, with powers taking a gander at cellphone records to figure out if the truth TV star or others were messaging at the time of the accident in Malibu.

Bruce Jenner was smoking, not messaging, when the accident happened on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, as per TMZ, and authorities told the Los Angeles Times that no paparazzi were included in the chain-response crash. Jenner, whose reported move from male to female has drawn expanding scope, was being trailed by photographic artists, however L.A. Area sheriff's Sgt. Philip Brooks told the Times that it was far fetched he was endeavoring to escape them.

As Per The Times reports: ~

A woman driving northbound in a Toyota Prius slowed down or stopped for reasons that were unclear. A woman driving a Lexus sedan rear-ended the Prius.

Jenner, who was driving a black Cadillac Escalade sport utility vehicle that was hauling a trailer carrying an off-road vehicle, then rear-ended the Lexus.

The impact propelled the Lexus into oncoming traffic, where a Hummer traveling southbound slammed into the Lexus. The driver of the Lexus, whom authorities declined to identify, died at the scene. Both the front and rear ends of the Lexus were severely damaged.

After the crash, a swelling crowd of onlookers and paparazzi led rescuers to call in reinforcements to manage the scene.

“It was a nightmare,” Brooks said.


A woman who has not been distinguished kicked the bucket in the accident and CNN reported that a vehicular murder examination was in progress, concentrating on all the drivers included. Jenner was uninjured and did not instantly seem to have been at flaw.
