Fellow Program in Management (FPM) – This is a doctoral program that is offered by the Indian Institute of Management. The Indian institutes of Managements see this course as an important source of building faculty resources and management researchers of good value to the academic institution as well as to the business, society and government. This program was introduced to the students in the academic year 2007 – 2008.
Management Development Program (MDP) – The main aim of this course is to present working executives with the latest concepts as well as practices in management. Structure of the courses offered in IIM Kozhikode
Executive Education Programmes - The objective of this course is to provide working executives with the necessary knowledge as well as skills without affecting their official duties. The classes of this course are regularly carried out by means of the two - way audio and the two-way video communication. This program has two components. The first component is in which the candidates can take lessons by logging onto one of the 300 countrywide networks of classrooms and the second one is carried out at the IIM campus at Kozhikode.
FPM – This course has a time period of 4 years. For special cases, an extended period of 6 month is allotted with reduced stipends. Nevertheless, with special approval, candidates will be allowed to continue their studies for 18 months with no stipend. The candidates are required to complete their course work in the first two years. The next two years will be dedicated for research as well as conclusion of the dissertation work.
PGP – The mode of instruction for this program is a combination of the lecture method as well as experimental learning methods like role plays, group discussions, case discussions, projects etc.
Evaluation process of Post graduate courses

IIM Kozhikode Course Admissions
The admission of students into the Post-graduate Programme in Management in the IIMK is done through the Common Admission Test (CAT). Students who clear this exam will be then required to be present for an interview with the board. They will also be needed to be present at the group discussions.
All Indian citizens and individuals who are not residing in India can apply for admission into the Fellow Programme in Management. The family income of the student should not be above Rs. 2, 00,000/- . The students will be given Rs. 56,000 the first year and Rs. 62,000 in the second year.
The third scholarship is the HECL Scholarships. Candidates who are applying for this scholarship must be a student of the PGP courses at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode. Five scholarships will be available. Students who get this scholarship will receive Rs.50, 000/-. The time period of this scholarship is one year. Students are selected for this scholarship according to their academic as well as extra curricular performance.
