Indian Maritime University (IMU) will conduct common admission test (CET) for admission to its UG and PG programmes at its 36 affiliated Institutes. This year onwards Computer based or online exams will be conducted. Interested candidates may apply online before 20th May 2014.

Common Entrance Tests for Admissions:
There will be a CET common to all UG programmes, one CET for two MBA programmes; another CET common to the 2 M.Tech programmes; and yet another CET for the LLM (Maritime Laws).
Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must possess good binocular vision must be physically fit and should meet the medical requirements as specified by DGS guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria:
- UG Programmes:
- Candidates should have passed or appearing the final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/state Board or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects..
- PG Programmes:
- M.Tech: Candidate must be a Graduate Engineer in Mechanical / Civil / Aeronautical / Marine / Naval Architecture Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate.
- LLM and MBA: Candidate must be a graduate with an aggregate of 50%
Important Dates
- Last date for Online Registration: 20th May 2014
- Date of Computer-Based CETs: 14th June 2014 (02.00 pm - 05.00 pm)
- Date of Publication of Results: 18th June 2014
- Date(s) of Counselling for all UG & PG Programmes (tentative): 14th July to 18th July 2014
- Date of Commencement of Programmes: 11th August 2014.
