CoCubes.com to host Indias largest online employability assessment

CoCubes.com, India’s foremost student engagement and hiring platform, is set to host India’s largest employability assessment drive in over 500 colleges across 25* towns and cities. The man behind this, Alok Rustagi, an IIM Kozhikode alumnus of 2009 batch is one of the leading faces of the entrepreneurial spirit that IIM K students have showcased in recent years by choosing the less trodden path and making it count. As many as 50,000 students, from all disciplines including BTech, BE, MBA, MCA and graduate courses, are expected to take the test, which will be conducted on Feb 16 and 17.

  • Over 50,000 students from 500 colleges in 25 towns, are expected to take the assessment that will test students on aptitude, technical, coding (C, Java, .Net) as well as include a psychometric evaluation

Nearly 400 corporates to hire from this pre-assessed pool for their annual hiring requirement

This will be the quickest assessment of such a large number of students, taken online simultaneously, with instant scores and results

The test syllabi include verbal, writing, numerical, coding and analytical skills, apart from domain subjects. The test scores are valid for a year, and the student will be able to enlist for free job alerts from CoCubes.com, based on the scores. The students who score lower marks in assessment will also be recommended training as per the skill gaps identified.

The assessment drive aims to help graduates across the country get equal opportunities at finding their first job, based on their results for a common test, thereby removing the disparity among students from different states and different universities or education boards. The test will dramatically enhance the employment opportunities of the students, as it gives them an opportunity to be assessed and hired by over 400 companies who will use the pre-assessed talent pool to hire this year. These companies primarily belong to the IT/ITES and manufacturing industries.

To participate in the drive, a student can apply individually, or through his / her college’s subscription, at www.CoCubes.com. A student can also write to [email protected] to get registered.

According to Alok Rustagi (IIMK 2009 batch), National Lead – Corporate Accounts, CoCubes.com, “Even as companies – irrespective of their size or hiring capacity – scour for employable talent, we are aware that several deserving candidates across the country lose out on this opportunity because they are not visible to these companies. We aim to bridge this gap by providing an equal opportunity to all students and offering them one more stepping stone towards their dream careers. With this employment assessment drive, we are confident of giving thousands of students the opportunity to be assessed and hired by companies, who otherwise, would not have the bandwidth to run recruitment drives in locations other than metros.”
