choosing the right brand name is not an easy decision. wat makes this decision important is the fact tht once a brand name is chosen and launched, changing it becomes very difficult.
Wat are the things to keep in mind while choosing a brand name?

Name is general, but "Brand Name" is created only after the successful launch of the product , its Quality excepted by the people and better than Competitor and most important the way of marketing..

It is the 'brand name'.. once easy to recall n well-established for its performance in market; it could also help in brand positioning.

The following things have to be considered for naming a brand
Distinguish the product from competitive brands
Memorable and easy to pronounce
Easy to say, spell and pronounce
It should allude to the product
Negative or offensive references should be avoided.
Evoke positive mental image
Evoke positive emotional reaction
Suggest product function or benefits
Simple
Sound appropriate
Be unique
Possibly, translate well in other languages too
