CHOICE Between Marketing and Finance

hi friends ,

I want ur help regarding which subject i opt. Right now i am 2 sem and still confused what i take in my second year. I don't want to do marketing but i have B.Sc background.I have good knowledge of share market and do trading also.I want to make my career in investment banking but mostly students from premier institutes are prefered for good posts.

Plz help me out

I am doing MBA from Gujarat University.
 
Hey chintan if you know that you are good at finance then go for it. True, only
students from premier b-schools are preferred by i-bank recruiters. However,
you may not start your job right at an investment bank but as you gain experience
in corporate banking or retail banking there is a very good scope for you to
get into i - bank, though that might take a year or two. On the other hand
if you are really unsure as if what you are really made for i.e. whether finance
or marketing then i suggest take some analytical tests the ones provided by
institutes like ims.. where you undertake a marathon tests which cover all
aspects of you and show you the way.
 
bosss....... if u have good knowledge of stock trading as well as finance then just go for finance rather thinking of marketing...sir...in marketing your view stick to certain limits...but in finance there r no limits ...so just go for finance....
 
as u are saying u have good knowledge about share bazzar and all and u wanna go in investment and all in future go for finance as the future prospects of this industry are also bright according to industry leaders....
