COMMON ENTRANCE TEST FOR ADMISSIONS TO FIRST YEAR OF
MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDBA for the Year 2010-11
Candidates seeking admission to AICTE approved MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDBA Courses are hereby informed that a Common Entrance Test (CET) FOR ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OFMBA/ MMS/ PGDBM /PGDBA COURSE FOR THE YEAR 2010-11will be held on February 21, 2010 (Sunday)
Candidates seeking admission to AICTE approved full time MBA/MMS/PGDBM/PGDBA course are hereby informed that Common Entrance Test (CET) will be conducted as per the schedule given below:
CET Date of MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2010 21st February 2010 (Sunday)
The detailed notification regarding availability of information brochure, filling up on-line CET Application form, eligibility criteria etc. will be published in leading newspapers and will also be available on the official web site MAH-MBA/MMS-CET-2009 in the month of January 2010.

Maharashtra MBA-CET Notification for 2009 is given below for ready reference
Admission to first year of two year full time post graduate degree courses in Management namely Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Management Studies (MMS) and Post Graduate Diploma Courses in Business Management (PGDBM)/Business Administration (PGDBA).
The institutes which qualify for the admission process as per these rules are:
• Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
• Recognised by the Government of Maharashtra.
• Affiliated to any one of the ten Non Agricultural / Non Technological Universities in Maharashtra state.
Following are the types of Institutes in the Maharashtra state covered by these rules;
a) All Government Management Institutes
b) All University Departments of Management
c) All University Managed Management Institutes
d) All Unaided Management Institutes whose Association has given consent to participate in the CAP rounds conducted by the State Government.
The admission to the courses MBA/MMS is centralized and is covered under Centralized Admission Process (CAP) carried by the Competent Authority of the State of Maharashtra.

University Departments: Amravati, Aurangabad, Jalgaon, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Solapur, Pune, Nanded and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Mumbai.
University Managed Institute (Only for Women Candidates): Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, SNDT Women’s University, Mumbai.

2. Online submission of the “CET Application Form” through computer connected to Internet on the web site MAH-MBA/MMS-CET-2009 for Maharashtra State /OMS/J&K candidates and receipt of the Hall Ticket for the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2009.
Note: Candidates who have appeared/appearing for
the CAT/JMET/MAT(of Feb. 2009)/ATMA/XAT and aspiring to claim admission against the All India seats are also required to submit the online CET application form.
