its me kartik raithatha the first one:

got 87.23 percentile in cat 2005:

logic and di: 98.74 percentile
quant: 84.81 percentile
verbal: 27.56 percentile

applied to :
k j somaiya cut off : 85 (approx)
welinglar cut off : 75-80 (approx)

will apply to :
n l dalmiya cut off : dont know.
 
Maamu.. best of luck ... concentrate on GD / PI and hope you will get into Welingkars or somaiyas..

I thnk u shud give dalmia a pass n try again next yr fr IIMs ;)

I am sure your 79.46 percentile has not seen 100 % effort from you. If you are really into getting admissions this year itself, then you should score relatively well in CET and get admission in Thakur, Atharva, Chetna etc.

But its alwayz best to take a 1 yr drop, learn new things or get a good work exp... and put your 100 % in the entrance exams .

KJ somaiya would be a good goal for you paramau

u got 79.46 percentile its good.
dont leave college like nl dalmiya because its a very good college. many people maight tell you that its not that good.it has a good name but not as compared to nm or somaiya. but its progressing by leaps and bounds.
also look out for met its quiet good. it has its own test.

does anyone hav idea wether the common written test (cwt) of sydenham being discontinued or they do conduct?
 
I got 97.37 percentile.

A (relatively) low score in quant is what prevented me from getting a shot at the IIMs.......though I hope to be there next year most probably.

Haven't applied anywhere else.......no point in doing your MBA from some sub-standard college.

BTW someone mentioned NL Dalmia as being a good college........trust me, it's not.

It's a strictly average college.....and I'm being lenient with words here.
 
Well MET would be a good option i believe.. Though not the status of S.P.JAIN & N.M.I.M.S but comes in the second group of colleges at present.. Well the cwt is still on at sydenham..!!:bump:
