I am in recruiting and i found some thing intresting..
I am recruiting for one of the worlds best BPO.....
This company is very large , carries very good brand image , good will , offers best environment to work for, Best growth prospects , Good HR policies , Logistics etc...........but does not pay good...I can say lowest in the industry..
This company never compromises on quality...so looks for the creamy layer of the talent pool.......
But a candidate having this qaulity has got tooooo many options from the industy.......almost 100% more pay packages...............
So most of the candidates are rejecting offers,,,,,,,,,,,,, Well I don't blame them....
Ppl who don't have any financial needs, or who are well aware of the value of this company (Value of Brand name) are only joining here and only to learn things ...
Ppl who are compromising on pay package in the initial stages are soon quiting the job after learning things....
I feel though things look rosy for now , this company may have to pay for this.its own brandname is going to make things difficult .....
So friends please give your opinions ,
Should a Company use its good will , and brand name as an excuse to pay low.......
I read that the company's good will should help to attract the best talent and to retain the pool ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Should a company use it to pay lowwww????????
