Commodity Trading & Risk Management
Seminar
2-3 December, 2014
Kampala Serena Hotel, Uganda
INTL FCStone Ltd
Commodities lie at the heart of Uganda's economic
potential. As Africa's largest exporter of coffee, Uganda's
abundant agricultural sector remains it major employer.
Additionally, Uganda will shortly become an oil producer
and has plans to enhance the development of a wide
range of mineral resources.
INTL FCStone Ltd has developed an interactive
programme that will identify the nature of commodities
and commodity trading, the role of exchanges and the
opportunity to develop and utilize derivatives to manage
and transfer risk. This seminar will explore the potential to
enhance investment and improve returns through the
development of local and regional commodities markets
and engagement in global markets.
INTL FCStone Ltd has a team of leading market
practitioners on the US and European commodity markets
and capacity building specialists with unique experience in
African financial markets who will be organising this
seminar with a specific focus on Uganda and other
emerging markets.
“We live in a world full of
opportunities in financial
markets, but not a world of full
access.
We believe that every
company—regardless of size,
regardless of industry, regardless
of how long they’ve been in
business—deserves access to the
best advice, the best products,
and the best, most efficient
market access.

We’re INTL FCStone – a pioneer in
diverse, global financial services.
And we believe that no one
should have a monopoly on
opportunity……We open markets!”
Scott Branch, President
