Sure. Lot of times the student feels that they have not got the exact exposure required or a bit more coaching is required or the specialization was not available then besides the reason you have quoted. My batchmate joined Telco from campus, worked a bit in the dot com world when he realized that he wanted to work in the field of strategy. By then a few years had passed and he had a bit of savings too (being a bachelor helped....) so he went to INSEAD, Paris campus, specialized for a year in strategy and is now with Shell (global strategy and M&A), based out of the Netherlands.
