now a days, the number of students wanting to do MBA is on increase..I m not saying that management is not needed because in every other filed we do require good managers(and that is why we are having management subjects in most of the engineering degrees)..But my point is that is it must for engineers to have a management degree?i dont think so(because good engineers are good managers too)...
Becoming a Manager is not with MBA degree, its all with you, how you are with people, You need to be a good motivator, decision maker, but they do look at your experience etc, If you have led a group as Team leader or as a project manager etc will add value....
Engineers only knows abt circuits ..but most importamt thing is management ..if they dont know to manage their work,their time,rather themselves then degree of Enginnering is of no use.
