ppl.. best example......mr Saif ali khan n amrita singh... she was older... they eventually ended up in a divorce.... so apne se choti ladki hi khojo na yar.. kya prblm hai.. y go for aunties when u can get cuties.. ;)

I think it depends on the cultural context and the degree of the age gap. I used to study in Singapore, and I think that even though society espouses libertarian values, and will agree that it is fine for a guy to be with an older women, such couples with age gaps more than 3 years of age usually keep their relationship 'secret'.
 
yes, today in the era of dink (double income no kids), and the hghly materialist world all what matter is coordination between husband and wife not their age. does not maater whether wife is elder or younger

rightly mentioned by tanhadil here. but this is a generally found that a women alway looks for a mature guy...( it comes thru age is understood by default )

a woman wud not mind a man younger to her if he possess maturity, has high emotional quotient and is capable enough to take life's decision.
 
Hey guyz... I opine that a women can marry a guy who iz younger to her... it all started in the good old dayz where empowerment of women waz not az today women was considered weak physically and socialy so the trend suiting those days was if a husband is elder he will take care of his wife who is younger till his death also there was a selfish motto of predominant male such that he can avail the service offered by his women till he die but if he marry a gal elder than him than she will end up before he expire also the life expectancy of women was compariyively lower than man.... but for todays trend and scenario therez nothing harm in women marrying a man younger than her but only the thing count is maturity levels of both man and women and compatiblity factors.....::SugarwareZ-245:
 
I don't think so thr should be any issues if a women wants to marry a guy younger to him since marriage means the understanding between 2 people & not the age factors.......

Does age have nothing to do with understanding, maturity, adjustability and mutual trust...???
itz bcoz in olden days people believed that women grew older faster than men..and women needs to always be dependent on men financially.. so natural it takes time for a man to settle strong financial to hold family responsibilities and a man is prepared for marriage only if he is financially independent, but itz enough if a women is physiological matured for a marriage relationship...

But now ,mere physiologically mature don't work in good realtionships, a woemn needs to be psychological prepared as well... if she feels more secure and satidfied with a man younger than her age...then marring a man of younger age than her's not an issue...
As now women have become financially independent, but emotionaly dependent towards men....

one fact.....older women always tend to like younger guys....n guys always fall for older women...(eg. students have a crush on teachers)...nw this is resultant due to the strange laws of attraction that god created...the mind and understanding and oder crap holds no place here... ;) so basically its the attraction quotient that cums into the picture here.... :)
 
why not ? as it is happening everywhere in the world and when there is chemistry and connection between them they are good to go.

women can marry young men....
age should never be a hurdle in a relationship.
besides if not allowed,it should be treated as prejudices against women .

i just feel da question as simple as can a man marry a younger woman.
if dere is no prob in dat wat counld be the prob in vice-versa

I have viewed some posts and i feel each one is right n i respect all ur views.. however, i feel lets not mend with the age old practices n traditions which have been going on for so long..

i am new to the site & urgently need to download an attachment, personlly i think its gr8 to have a GF atleast 1 year elder though i dont have an experience but its kind of different and happening
