You may like to read a book by Howard Schulz - One cup at a time. It is the story of Starbucks. The basic concepts behind both the brands - STarbucks and CCD have a lot in common. While Starbucks store lays claim to be the Third Place - the first being the house and the second the office. It also has stories of people getting married in the Starbuck Store. IN comparison CCD's lays it claim as a ' happening place' with the tag line - A lot can happen over coffee. This tag line probably hints at a broader age band in terms of market niche. Nonetheless, One cup at a time is a very interesting read.
