By When Will India Be Superpower?

India will take many years to become a superpower nation... and it can only happen if the country is free from corruption and poverty.on the other hand the country has another problem of imense population,which has to be controlled...

India has a lot of potential in terms of money, defense, business, etc.. But there are not using it to bring out their best. The government along with the support of the people should encourage research and development and make prototypes of inventions..

The government should fund these individuals who genuinely want ot do something constructive...
 
India is on its way to become a future super power. We can see the heat Chinese are facing these days from India which i hope to continue in coming years. India leads in Asia and will be a super power across the globe. "Touchwood"
 
I don't think that 2020 - or any other single date / day or year would see India suddenly as a super-power - it would happen over a larger span - probably over some ten years or so, with India increasing its economic and political influence gradually, but steadily. Also a declaration that I-the-super-power would definitely draw a hostile response - even from friends. But still I do believe that this would happen, starting from somewhere around 20's (of 2k) - and the gradual process would take some 10-20 years, depending upon international politics - when the superpower India would be recoginsed (by other countries - friends and foes alike) as an influential, super-power nation.
 
It will be when all the MBA;s and the Management graduates start thier own industries and make India a superpower country

If one were to track down the potential of India then by 2020India is going to emerge as one of the Economic superpower, and even currently it is considered as the most lucrative business spot by the global players.

A prefered low cost destination for outsourcing operations after Philipinnes and middle east countries.

As far as the western economies bullying around the developing countries is concerned, then the current economic conditions is evident of the fact tht super giants like US and most of the European economies are not resilient to it, while a still developing country like India could show a lot of resistance to the crisis, we were and are affected by the recession but the green shoots of recovery seems to first emerge here then in the western economies.

So we are not far from receiving the award of the global super economy.:first:
