Hello,
I am here with a question. There are many of us who are pursuing MBA
So I have a question to all of them.
What's better to do after getting management degree - business or job? And why?

In my opinion, If someone have capabilities then he or she should go for business. As they will get more chances to apply their skills and experiment with new ideas. Personally I like to be innovative.

if u ask me about the immediate option after you get ur degree, it will be definitely job. after working for, say some 5 to 6 yrs, then you can consider the option business.

I would say that the big issue in this situation is what you have to risk.

If you have a stable life coming out of your degree and have support from your family then I would say a job for one year JUST to get you into the swing of things.

Likewise, as it is a broad question, you would want to decide on the business as some business ideas are easier and require much less time and capital to start up.

Hey people,
I think even when you do hold an MBA...and you plan to start your own business, we should work in the industry for some years to gain a practical experience and realise the unforseen realities which would only make us better in handling our business in future!

All the best!

starting a business is surely not every persons cup of tea.
coz having a business is a whole different game ur own money, high risk, decision making ability and distinctive idea that runs ur business.
If u have the financial backing and more importantly the guts and driving force to keep ur business going its surely a good decision to take
but for the rest running some other persons business is advisable !!!!

Once you finish studies, you can go for a job. Take experience, work and then you can decide for a business. Suddenly going for business would be a bad option since you may not be aware of the responsibilities and lack of experience could betray you.

Lifestyle should be your consideration when deciding whether to work a traditional job verses starting your own business. Both options have their lifestyle advantages and disadvantages, and the good news is there's also nothing preventing you from doing both when you're first starting out. In fact, that's how most successful business owners have done it.
The main advantages of working a job are generally predictability, steady income, and sometimes steady work hours. Your income is active, meaning you work a certain number of hours a week, and you get paid a certain amount of money. Gratification is faster, and you see the results of your effort quicker than a business owner usually does.

I support business , I believe in entrepreneurship innovative spirit , its great feeling to get ur products perform successful in market & being rewarded with profits , but u need to have little experience & then move ... Business transforms lives...

Doing business doesn't pre-requiste an MBA.If someone has an idea and really confident of making it big then I think they can wear the Entreprenueral hat.Noone stops them. Its a common illusion that ppl who do MBA will have a better chance of successding in a business. Its all that one extra step that makes the diff.
