Education
In 1980, Clark-Reynolds became the then youngest woman to ever
attend university in New Zealand at 15 years of age. She graduated
with a BA with Honors from Victoria University. She went Rutgers
University in New Jersey in the United States, where she completed a
combined Masters Degree in Health and Environmental Studies.

Business Experience
Clark-Reynolds founded a health and safety and ACC consultancy called Fusion, which became New
Zealand's largest private accident compensation insurer. Melissa was the general Manager of Fusion
and in 2001 sold her interest to Southern Cross Healthcare. She has been the founder or CEO of
several technology businesses. These include PayGlobal, Intaz, MiniMonos and Seven Dragons Ltd.
She specialises in tech company turnaround.

As a female entrepreneur, Clark-Reynolds is a rarity. She is one of the few kiwi women to raise
investment money inside and outside of NZ.

Other Accomplishments
Clark-Reynolds made her first million by 35 years of age. Forbes magazine have her as one of ten
female entrepreneurs to watch. She has represented New Zealand at the APEC Forum on
encouraging Women Entrepreneurs. She is also an Al Gore Climate Ambassador.

She sits on a range of boards, notably including Radio New Zealand. As a Board member at Creative
HQ, she helped to establish the Lightning Lab in Wellington.

Melissa is an experienced and popular public speaker in New Zealand and Australia on a variety of
business subjects, including entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability.

Gifted Experience
Clark-Reynolds is a gifted individual herself and is a parent of gifted children.
