Hello i have an assignment in brand mgmt course.
I need to compare ALL the available INDIAN brands/products available in the women's hair care category.

Can anyone provide me with any assignment/link/pdf etc which can be of any help.

compare HLL, chick shampoo, clinic all clear, heard n shoulders, garnier

HLL basically targets on rural audience with its sachets and HLL shakti campaign.
Uses black shampoo to meet pref and psyche of rural audience.

Chick shampoo started the sachetization, has disappeared now

clinic brand positioning is of a family shampoo

head n shoulders the KOOL anti - drandruf shampoo

Garnier for stronger hair

Bacially look at what they use as USP. That will help u a lot....like how kartik has categoried every1 of them, do that....I think that will be enough, if u need a little more clearity, go 2 big bazzar. hair care section, sab milega....


along with shampoo, take hair oils, hair colour, mehendi, etc etc.......comapre all of them using USP factor...

That Either run a search, or m afraid you will hv to make your own report....actually u shud try making ur own report......n then u cn get it evaluated here......Instead of trying such an easy way.....thoda ghumke jao

Well yeah right now my main concern is to cover all brand names..once that is done..size,prize,purpose etc can be found easily.

Just found had forgotten to include shehnaz hussain proeducts

key insight could be the introduction of new oils - like Liveon ..
essentially all oils are hair conditioners.. I foresee a growthin in the "modern hair oil" ..
just my 2pence...
