Brand is not only convenient for businesses for repeated customer purchase but also easier for customers to filter out the countless generic items. A brand helps in differentiating one company from another. Brand marketing is the process of developing the right image or corporate identity of your company to the market place. It is a marketing technique to reach the target audience of a product.

Provide an exceptional customer experience. It also boosts word of mouth and that’s a very powerful tool. Remember that an exceptional customer experience begins the moment your prospect lands on your website and doesn’t stop.

Use your logo, colors and graphics consistently throughout your web content, marketing materials and communications. Create a theme and an image you want to portray and stick to it so prospects and customers can begin to recognize you.

People don’t know who you are unless they’ve been exposed to you. Experts say that people need at least three exposures to a brand before they remember it, which means you need to be out interacting online with your prospects and customers to make sure they know you. This is what makes social media such a powerful tool.

Share knowledge and industry information with your prospects. Articles, reports, published books, and white papers all help establish brand credibility in your industry.

As a successful internet marketer and business owner, branding and brand recognition plays a critical role in your overall marketing strategy. Brand boosting tactics, designed to increase familiarity, result in awareness, trust, and ultimately purchases.

Boosting your brand recognition is a profitable business strategy.

As a blogger, I know first-hand how frustrating it can be to have an audience that doesn't respond when you ask them a specific question. Leverage this frustration by being the first or among the first to react in the comments.

Except for in very specific situations, leaving a 'loved this' or 'thanks for this' comment is the blogging equivalent of poking someone on Facebook; the 2 seconds you took to do it is the same 2 seconds of thought the blogger will give to it before forgetting it.

Show that the blogger's point made a connection with you by sharing your own similar experience or one you've heard.

If you appreciated the article, promote it on social media, and tell the blogger that you did so. If possible, link to wherever you promoted it, giving your claim more credibility.

Here's an example of this tactic that I've been using for years. If I like a blog post and it's relevant to job search, I'll 'thumb it up' and review it using the JobMob Stumbleupon account and then leave a comment with a link to the review on SU. This is a win-win tactic because if the thumbing-up sends traffic to the blog post, many of those readers may also see your comment and click through to your own website.

One of my favorites - if you found the blog post worthy enough, mention it on your own blog, hopefully generating a trackback among the comments of the original article (WordPress blogs do this, not so much the others). This is the ultimate expression of appreciation for a blogger's work. A company’s brand extends to its employees, clients, the media and even the general public. The main element of good brand development include target market research which involves collecting information on potential clients needs and preferences, features and benefits of your product in which the target market will be interested

Simply being consistent is a way to stand out. Nigerian branding expert ?Yinka Olaito regularly comments on articles here on the Personal Branding Blog, and for a long period of time, it seemed like he always had something to say with each of my articles. However, for the past few weeks, he hasn't left his regular comment and now I'm wondering where he went. Mission accomplished.

By adding value to the blogger's article, the blogger and her visitors will be happy that you left your comment. Depending on how impressive your comment is, many of them will also want to learn more about you.

The key to success of any business is brand recognition. Countless small and large companies are fighting hard for their market share. This competition is increasing with every passing day. There are many factors involved that can boost your brand including; providing an exceptional consumer experience, business commitment, consumer value, and business consistency etc. However, to let your consumers know what you are all about, you need to advertise your brand. To get the best outcome, you need to advertise it in a professional manner. If you fail to do so, you will find yourself lagging behind in the race.

Social Media is just basically the communication of your brand on-line it offers you the opportunity to boost awareness through discussion and interaction and increased visible awareness by sharing with your community.

Ways you can get connected are through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Blogging to name a few. Then all you need to do is get a discussion going around your brand by asking people within you community questions about your business.

Once you are ready to get going figure out what you are looking to gain out of social media, plan your long term strategies, create your business profiles, learn about the community you are entering into, and then get going and become an active part of that community.

Remember social media remains one of the cheapest and most effective ways to build relationships and drive traffic to your Blog or Website by sharing news information from within you industry.
