Too often, our prompts our spontaneous. We make a remark without reasoning the possible effect it might have. All of us have an opinion about everything but what we neglect is the fact that everyone is different in every aspect.
The Almighty has created us all. When one passes a comment on someone's exterior, it should be noted that it is being passed on God's creation. Moreover, outward beauty is transient. How does it matter whether an individual is short, tall, fat or skinny?
We live in a country where beauty means only how fair a person is. Teenagers on social media are full of insecurities. Advertisements and news serve as proof
to this. These factually incorrect content play a huge role in manipulating our mind. Where the reality is that none of us can become perfect. Looks should not even be a matter of consideration. As a society, we need to understand that no one chooses to appear in a certain way. Let us be accepting towards each other. Our body is sacred and we need to embrace it. There is no problem in working on it and trying to change but remember at the end of the day, it really matters what's on the inside. A lot of unnecessary importance is being given to something so superficial, something which fades over time. Hence, do not be fooled. Do not fall prey to societal norms. You are beautiful and let no one tell you otherwise.
Our good deeds and beautiful mind itself reflects upon us. In the long run, people will remember us for our thoughts and qualities. We might fall in love at first sight with the cover but with time as we turn the pages and unfold what's inside is the time we decide if it's really worth it.
If the story is not good, will you read it again or keep it covered in dust irrespective of its outstanding cover?
Let's ask ourself this question and devote more time to things which are more important than just externals. More importantly, remember a small statement you make in a haste can have an adverse effect on a person. It might attack them at 2 am and have no confidence to even look at the mirror. Surely, one wouldn't want to be in such a position.
