Bidding Adieu to FORE

14th February, 2012, It was our last exam at FORE School of Management and 5 hours later we had our farewell party scheduled in college premises. But those five hours were mixed with happiness, emotions, excitement, sadness and what not. We spent most of our time in the college shouting, hooting clicking photographs with weird posses. We actually realized, we are going to miss all this but no one wanted to admit. The time flew like anything and finally we went back to our hostels to dress up for our Farewell party.

The function started by a formal greeting by our president Mr. R.C. Sharma followed by short speech from director Dr. J.K. Das. The event then kicked off by a video which was prepared by our junior batch dedicated to us highlighting all the good moments we spent at FORE. A student from France (student exchange program) showed his talent with guitar. The formal function ended right over there only.

Now, it was the fun time and we knew its last time together. A number of awards were given to our batch including “Billion Dollar Smile”, “Mr(s). AK47”, “Chikni Chamelli”. Though I couldn’t bag any of those. A performance from the band of our college followed by few Karaoke performances lit up the mood of the auditorium. Then came the much-?awaited event of selection of Mr. and Ms. FOREIAN. The complete procedure made the contestants to perform as sportily as they could and the audience very well enjoyed it. Every student of our batch was awarded with a tag; mine was “Mr. Omnipresent”. The event concluded at around 2030 hours with DJ rocking the complete college afterwards. Every student of our batch stayed as late as he could coz next time in college its going to be all new faces.

I would like to greet my juniors a heartily thanks for organizing such a memorable last night for us and wish them a very good luck for their future.
