BCCI to spend 10 crore for covid-19 tests during ipl

• Every week of IPL 2020 season will see multiple covid-19 tests being conducted on players and support staff
• The testing process started ever since the players geared up to leave from their respective hometowns
• The BCCI will reportedly spend INR 10 crore alone on COVID-19 testing this season

"We have engaged VPS Healthcare, a UAE based company to conduct the tests. While I can't put a number, it will be more than 20,000 tests which would include everyone. Each test would cost BCCI around 200 AED (Dirham) excluding taxes," a senior IPL official told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
