Bazinga, Explore Your Quirky Side

The hallmark of a good fest is in its ability to engage everyone who makes an appearance and Bazinga aims to do just that at Mridang, the annual cultural festival of IIM Indore. Yes, the name is new but it is very much an old and staple event. The only difference being that this year we bring it to you in a bigger, better format and in the words of Co-ordinator Abhishek Upadhyay :it’s designed to bring out the quirky side in you. Hence the name Bazinga .

Bazinga kicks off with the appetizer event Section wars which sets the tone for the rest of the festival. This is an event for the first year participants of IIM Indore which pits the various sections against each other in a host of different activities. Bazinga aims to generate an atmosphere resembling a carnival and much like the latter it has various exciting offerings to keep the crowd occupied and entertained. Probably the marquee event is Paintball which will definitely see throngs of people getting their fix of an adrenaline rush.

Adding to the excitement is zorbing and if you are hearing this word for the first time, all I’ll say is that it would be hard to describe it in words and it needs to be checked out in person. Nakhrali Dhani is bringing in the cultural flavour this year with a Mehendi stall, ethnic merchandise, an astrologer and finally topping it off with a magic show. Something that will bring a glint in the eye of every adventure lover is the wall climbing event.

So when you do come for Mridang, don’t forget to check out what is surely the heart and soul of the fest, BAZINGA!
