Barak Obama deserves the Nobel Prize..?

i feel that the nobel peace prize which obama got was totally undeserved. just 9 months since he became president and he hast even done anything substantial.

He has done nothing for the good of this world.... some time i think world is ruled by the Secrete Agencies not by respective Government.

The comment was made that after 9 months he has not completed enough yet to qualify for the award. The worst part about the situation is that the decision of who would win the Nobel peace prize was made in February not October. So Barack was only in office for 3 weeks by the time the decision was made. This shows how much of a farce this award has become.

Even though Barack Obama has raised hopes, he still hasn't done much to be awarded a Nobel.
Come to think of it Mother Teresa spent her whole life to the cause of the sick and underprivileged before being awarded Nobel at the fag end of her life and her's a President who in spite of all the promises is yet to prove his mettle.

I dont think so. he has not done anything great in the interim to deserve 1. What peace has he given to the world... actually there has been more terrorism outside US from the time he has taken oath. Also, US has been facing 1 of the worst recession crisis that it has ever seen. When the rest of the world is slowly coming out of it, US is still there in the dumps !

i think dat the nobel prize committee's decision is wrong...mr. obama needs to do alot to win this prize....but now wen it has already been done so, the president needs to put his peace plans into ction to save his own n d nobel prize committee's face.however i do believe he has d potential, power n resources to bring d much needed peace in d world.

Nobel Prize Authority declared to give him award..

Even Gandhiji Didn't got that award..!! :frusty:

No doubt he is a good leader & in favour of peace but do you think that he deserves the Award at this time..?
