ABOUT ANIBT :
MISSION STATEMENT :

Australian National Institute of Business & Technology (ANIBT) is an established Registered Training Provider. They are conveniently situated on the eastern edge of the CBD, easily accessed by tram and train. Restaurants and cafes surround the Institute and our facilities are modern and spacious with well-equipped classrooms, including a commercial style kitchen which is in a nearby suburb and within three train stops from the main campus. There is also a modern computer laboratory and students have free access to the Internet. Currently, Hospitality, Information Technology and Business rank amongst the world's top industries and for a student seeking to enter these industries, it is essential that the training undertaken reflect the skills demanded. ANIBT Management has worked closely with industry, in these three major areas, to create training programmes and an environment that develops practical skills and personal attitudes that form a foundation for a students' future success.
The aim of the Institute is to provide nationally recognised training over a range of programmes, including Hospitality, IT, English and Business Management. VISION :

ANIBT believes that education is essential for empowerment and growth and strives to be a leading provider of quality educational pathways, assisting learners to achieve their academic and vocational goals.
In the near future, ANIBT will extend its services to include a greater range of studies, as well as Corporate Training.

Compliance with legislation
Commonwealth and State legislation govern the study contract between the student and ANIBT. As such, the Institute, through its policies and procedures, upholds the provisions of this legislation particularly in relation to the following areas:

• Workplace Relations Act
• Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission Act
• Racial Discrimination
• Racial Vilification Act
VOCATIONAL EDUCATION :
Vocational education offered under the AQTF system in Australia is among the best in the world. The Australian Quality Training Framework is the nationally recognised government system of vocational education and training.
Courses at ANIBT range from Certificate III to Advanced Diploma.
On successful completion of these courses, students may use their qualifications to gain advanced standing in a university course. ANIBT has an articulation agreement with Central Queensland University (Melbourne International Campus) and students who have completed Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management may gain 12 course exemptions towards a Higher Degree. The Diplomas and Advanced Diplomas are designed to enable students attain junior to middle management level positions in industry. The Hospitality industry, in particular, is undergoing rapid growth. Each year a vast pool of employment opportunities is created for trained people in establishments such as hotels, restaurants, clubs, and function centres and in institutional catering facilities such as hospitals, hostels and defence establishments. Melbourne is the event capital of Australia and the Grand Prix, the Australian Open Tennis Championships, the AFL Grand Final and the imminent Commonwealth Games offer many opportunities for the Hospitality and Tourism Industries.

STUDENT SERVICES :

ANIBT student services staff are responsible for assisting students with their needs while studying at the Institute. The Student Services Department can assist with such issues as personal and academic welfare, travel and accommodation assistance and any other issues that may arise for students.
ACCOMMODATION :
The Australian National Institute of Business and Technology offers a range of accommodation options, which are made known to the students. Students can select between such facilities as homestay, hostel accommodation or private rental accommodation.

Off campus Accommodation options:

ANIBT does not have any on-campus accommodation. The housing advisory service will provide information, advice and assistance on finding off-campus accommodation such as:
•Home stay ( Full-Board) If you do not want to be independent when you first arrive, you may find home stay is much easier for you. Full-Board is usually provided in a household with your own fully furnished room, 2-3 meals a day and all household bills except telephone calls.
•Shared-house Accommodation You will pay rent for your own bedroom and share the bathroom, kitchen and living areas with the other people living in the household.
• Private Rental properties Rent your own apartment or house through Real Estate agent or private landlord. Most of properties are unfurnished, so initial setting up cost would have to include furniture and appliances.
•Private Hostel Accommodation A small furnished bedroom is provided with access to shared bathroom, living and recreation areas.
